Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mobile applications and services provided by Essential ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using any of our apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our apps.

Apps Covered by These Terms

These Terms apply to the following apps:

• Kawari Keyboard — AI translation keyboard (iOS)

When we release new apps, we will update this list.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the usage rules of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our apps.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our apps.
• Use our apps for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in our apps.
• Use our apps to transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some of our apps offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings (Apple ID on iOS, Google Play on Android).
• All payments are processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We do not directly handle your payment information.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the respective app store.

Free Features and Advertisements

Our apps may offer free features supported by advertisements. Ad content is provided by third-party networks and we do not control or endorse the products or services advertised.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks in our apps are owned by Essential or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license described above.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Translation results are generated by automated systems and may not be perfectly accurate. You are responsible for reviewing translations before use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Essential shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our apps. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our apps at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the apps ends immediately. You may terminate by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
