Apps Covered by This Policy

This policy applies to the following apps:

• Kawari Keyboard — AI translation keyboard (iOS)

When we release new apps, we will update this list.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Device information: Device model, operating system version, and language settings. This is collected automatically to ensure compatibility and deliver relevant content.
• Advertising identifiers: If you use the free version with ads, advertising identifiers are collected by our ad partner to serve relevant advertisements.
• Purchase data: If you subscribe to a premium plan, an anonymous user identifier and purchase records are processed by our subscription partner to manage your entitlements. We do not receive your payment details.
• Local preferences: Settings such as your selected language pair and tone preference are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any server.

What We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• Typed text: We do not collect, store, or transmit any text you type using our keyboard.
• Personal accounts: We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers.
• Contacts or messages: We do not access your contacts, messages, photos, or any other personal data on your device.

Third-Party Services

Our apps use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — Serves advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data. Google Privacy Policy

App-Specific Data Practices

Each app may handle data differently depending on its features. This section details the specific practices for each app.

Kawari Keyboard

Kawari Keyboard requires "Full Access" permission on iOS. This permission is needed to enable the translation feature to function within the keyboard extension. Even with Full Access enabled:

• Translation is performed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device translation framework. Your words never leave your phone.
• We do not use network access to transmit keystrokes or typed content.
• Network access is used only for loading advertisements (free version) and verifying subscription status.
• No additional personal data is collected beyond the common information described above.

As we release additional apps, their specific data practices will be documented in this section.

Data Retention

We do not maintain user databases or servers that store personal data. Advertising and subscription data are retained by the respective third-party service providers according to their own retention policies. Local preferences remain on your device until you delete the app.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
